Healing Touch Program Accreditations and Endorsements : American Holistic Nurses' Association & Canadian Holistic Nurses' Association
Description:
At Level 1, the student receives 16 to 18 hours of continuing education and the content is designed for people from diverse backgrounds. Previous personal knowledge is recognized and the student is invited to deepen skills and concepts related to energy-based therapies. A commitment to personal growth is required.
Objectives:
- Describe energy fields and centers as two aspects of the human energy system linked to physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellness
- Identify and practice the Healing Touch ethics and standards of practice
- Develop awareness of the energetic anatomy and meditation practice
- Practice 12 foundational Healing Touch techniques
- Discuss the scope of practice including self-care and professional responsibilities
